Sam Lyons, Thursday, 29 July 2010 Call for Expressions of Interest close 30 August 2010 Overview
- All nominations welcome, provided you are eligible to be selected in the Australian Olympic Team for the London 2012 Olympic Games
- Priority will be given to applicants currently assuming the position of Australian Canoeing and/or High Performance Managers travelling with National Touring Teams
- All nominations must be received by Australian Canoeing by 30 August 2010
- The Australian Canoeing will select up to three nominations to forward to the AOC
- Short listed nominees will be notified by Australian Canoeing in early October, 2010
- Short listed nominees will be required to attend an interview and workshop held on one day in either Melbourne, Sydney or possibly Adelaide (TBC)during November 2010
- Section Managers will be confirmed by the AOC in late December 2010/early January 2011 (for sports not dependant on athlete qualifications)
- Selected Section Managers will be required to attend a Section Manager workshop in Sydney during February 2011 and February 2012
- All nominees must be financial members of Australian Canoeing

- A cover letter of no more than one single sided page covering:
- the main reasons why you are applying for this position, and
- what value you feel you could bring to the 2012 Australian Olympic Team
- A current resume detailing all coaching and team management experience, and all previous Olympic experience
- Completed “AOC Application for the Position of Section Manager” (link below)
