Paddling with the Tide is a three-month program. Kayakers meet the challenge paddling against the current while energy levels are high at the beginning of a paddle; coasting back, gently paddling the moving current when tired on return. Or it gives the opportunity to explore tidal creeks and places inaccessible at low tide.

These paddles are on the Woronora and  Georges rivers, and occasionally venture into Botany Bay. They are planned for Club Sundays. Start at 8:15am. Participants are responsible for their own safety. They are not Club events, just suggested paddles that members may like to to do as a group.

EXPECTED - appropriate safe boats, life jackets, drinking water and snacks, appropriate clothing, health and fitness for chosen paddle. Observe commonsense safe paddling procedures. Respect/support other paddlers.
